| | No comment | ] | Okay...uh...I didn't like today for some reason...I don't know why. I guess it's one of those days...
Anyways, today in CLE we had this thing where we passed around this piece of paper where people had to write nice things about you. It was really touching...aww...In Bio, we discussed dark reaction (Ack! All those formulas and arrows! O_O). In THE, we cooked Hainanese pork and Yang Chow fried rice...yum...In Math, we just solved some Motion problems and checked some stuff. In Lit, we had a surprised quiz which I wasn't prepared for sadly...And in Histo, we discussed about the Chinese Dynasties and I got Toblerone (Thanks Geri!).
Oh, Mrs. Guba told us that we MIGHT or WILL have to wear a SANDO for our interaction because last year the Ateneo guys' teachers told Mrs. Guba and some other teachers that the guys talk about our BRAS. They would talk about how this girl would be wearing a strapless bra and this girl would wear blah, blah, blah...Seriously, that is just gross and super perverted disgusting o_O.
Hay...I need to go back to work now... |

Today, we had the "Love Conference" Talk. It really made me wanna cry.
The talk about family (mom, dad, sisters and brothers) was really emotional and really touching. God, I wish I had that kind of relationship with my mom/dad. *Sigh*
The talk also reminded me of our Filipino yesterday which was about the relationship between a child and his or her parents. In Filipino, I was getting teary-eyed and some cried. Including Mr. Cereso. It was a total shocker. We. Made. Sir. Cry. But I swear it was a really touching discussion and everyone had the freedom to cry.
Okay, um, in Art Corps, Sir Uly taught us charcoal drawing and made us sketch these shapes. Alyssa's, Anna's and Adie's were so much better than mine =P. Charcoal is so difficult to handle. And it's messy. Haha.
So right now, I'm watching Season 4 Smallville (thanks to my sister for getting us addicted) and I've finished drinking my Royal Tru Orange. So much fun =P. |

| | sleepy | ] | Okay...I got all my T.E. scores and they're not as bad as I expected them to be (even Math--compared to what I would normally get).
My highest was CLE--no surprise there--and my lowest was Math--again, no surprise there--.
This week has been pretty...blah. Nothing much, except orals and this Love Conference thing tom (o_o whatever that is). I like love this week.
Oh yeah, this is my last week of being in Math E. On Monday, I'm going back to Math Reg. I got killed in the Mathalino Hunt, =P. I expected it na eversince UT1, so no surprise there.
But I feel bad because I'll miss the class and all the inside jokes there, lol. Ms. Luna says we need to get 93 in the second term (talk about pressure..) and 95 in the third term (more pressure..) to go back to Enrichment in 3rd year. So that's my challenge. Eep.
Wish me luck there.

This week was full of interruptions.
Monday - Half-day, no academic classes, Palarong Pinoy, AC Vigil
Tuesday - No classes, Assumption Day
Wednesday - Practices during class hours, 1 or 2 academic subjects only happened, Filipino presentation (Congrats Section 4!)
Thursday - Academic classes
Friday - Culminating Activity, only 2 academic classes happened
So many projects are due next week! The Haikus, The Storybook, The Travelogue, The Cell Powerpoint, etc. I does not help that we have UTs next week as well.
Yesterday was, as said, the Culminating Activity. we had to dress up in Filipino costumes. I think Second Year had the most people with barong =P! Anyways, after recess, we watched the Y-go-roots/people from the North. They showed us some of their rituals and dances. We got to drink the rice wine they used. It tasted like barbecue sauce with alcohol (as said by Patz).
Oh yeah, since they were people from the North, malamang the guys were in bahag. I swear Patz and I kept telling each other that their butts were so firm! (Well, it was hard trying not to look at their butts since they kept turning their backs on us) They didn't wiggle or anything...seriously.
During lunch, we saw Sir Santos carrying a bottle of the rice wine we tasted. Hmm...Couldn't get enough I think? =P
We watched the presentations of all the year levels (including Gr. 7 and the Y-Go-Roots) after lunch. The Y-Go-Roots people beheaded a chicken in front of us, which was kinda traumatizing o_O. Then it was dismissal.
Okay, I must get back to work...*sighs* I can't wait for Sembreak... |

| | 99 Red Balloons (Goldfinger) | ] | Today we didn't have any academic classes because we watched Florante at Laura in SM, Las Piñas.
On the way there, Patz, Michelle, Geri and Lui were playing the Song Game. So it was all singing from Makati to Las Piñas =)).
When we got there, there were already a lot of people form different schools. They were so rude. They kept staring at us, talking about us and they kept saying "Miss! Miss!" when we were inside the theater.
God, we were so deadma throughout the whole play. While everyone was clapping so loudly and howling, we were just clapping softly with no reactions on our faces. The only times we reacted were in the funny and disturbing parts.
The "war" parts were so funny/stupid. The music wasn't "war-like" and their moves were so synchronized. Imagine if war was really like that, lol.
The part that really disturbed me the most were the scenes with Flerida and that Persian sultan. He seriously has a DOM complex (as Geri would state it).
On the way back, I had so much fun! Mariel, Michelle, Missy, Pats, Geri, Lui and I were playing so many mind games like Black Magic, Shooting Star, Music Museum, Pass the Hat (Poor Lui, we were all torturing her =P), Coin Riddle (So corny =P), Around The World, Double-Sided World, The Albatross (?) Story thing, etc.
Also on the way back, the battery of the bus was dying and we didn't have aircon. We had to pull over and wait for a while until the bus started up. Before the aircon died out, it was spewing out dust (Ick).
When we arrived back in AC, we went to our respective clubs. In Art Corps, we didn't do much. We were supposed to make graffiti art, but we didn't have so much time. So instead we just doodled around with the chalk we brought. We were so mean to Marga C! Adie keep wiping chalk on Marga's blouse =P. We did not enjoyed bullying her =P. Love you Marga!
We also had practice today. For Sec 1, we finally finished the dance! We just need to polish it a little bit more.
Today was fun but tiring...so worthwhile.

| | Seasons of Love (Rent) | ] | So far this weekend I've been so relaxed. No homework. No cramming. No tests. Just chilling.
This is a first in my second year life because usually it's all about homework, tests, quizzes, etc. For once, there is silence.
But sometimes it can get pressuring. There's always this little voice at the back of your mind asking, "What have I forgotten to do? Is there a homework I left out? A quiz I forgot to study for?". But I can handle it.
Live journal is way more complicated than blogspot, but I love a challenge, and sooner or later I'll get used to it.
Oh yes, feel free to add me in lj. Thanks :) |
